Morning Sun Ranch is located on 30 acres in one of the most beautiful sites in Santa Cruz County. In business since 1988, the owners are experienced horse people dedicated to running a safe, clean, friendly facility. Personal attention to the horses, their owners, and an incredibly beautiful property, makes this a place you'll want to call home. In addition to full-care horse boarding, we offer lessons, and leasing.

I have loved and worked with horses all my life. As a young rider, I was a serious contender in Western Pleasure and Trail. I had a full-time trainer (my mother). When not in the show ring, you could find me galloping my horse on the open trails or trying to learn how to rope, which was my father's passion. As an adult, most of my time is spent teaching, attending clinics, and giving lessons. I have spent many years learning classical dressage, natural horsemanship, and many other disciplines. I have a deep passion for horses, learning how to communicate with them is a lifelong journey. Being "horse smart" is something I encourage with all my students and every new horse helps me to further enhance my communication skills.6
