How To: Give a Nervous Horse a Haircut

Introducing a Power Clipper and Cutting a Bridle Path in the Mane
Some people will just cross tie a horse and force him to put up with something that makes him nervous — like a noisy power clipper. That can make the experience so unpleasant for the horse that he does not want to have it happen again. At worst, it can be dangerous — for both the human and the horse.

We weren’t sure if Espia had ever been exposed to power clippers before. This video shows how Genae takes plenty of time to get Espia used to the idea, making sure that he feels comfortable at every step along the way. The outcome is not only mission accomplished, but also a more trusting, happier horse.
